ALERION Parts Ways With Keyboardist
November 16, 2009Dutch female-fronted progressive metal band ALERION has parted ways with keyboardist Paul Bouman due to "musical differences." A replacement keyboardist has yet to be announced.
In March 2009, ALERION announced the addition of guitarist Bart Lubbers to the group's ranks.
The band's latest promo recording, "Turn Of Fate", was recorded at Storm Studio and produced by Kevin Storm, who is best known from the female-fronted rock/metal band CARDAMON and his project THE COMEBACK.
According to a press release, "Turn of Fate" contains the title track, which has a running time of almost eight minutes and "mold[s] together heavy and occasionally fast stuff with various slower and melodic parts," and the song "Clash with Eternity", which is "more subtle and features fingerpicked guitar parts."
